Fortnite: Game system explained
In the survival shooter's multiplayer mode, called Battle Royale, your goal is to win against 100 other players as the last survivor. The Nintendo Switch has Battle Royale mode, but not the campaign. Fortnite - Save the world: price varies
However, if you also want to play the Save the World campaign, you must purchase at least the paid version of Fortnite for 40 euros. All other fee-based variants contain only cosmetic items, which do not change or influence the game in any way. The deluxe version costs about 60 euros.
You can Fortnite: Sometimes save the world as part of an action at lowered prices or you will continue to be patient. After all, the campaign will be offered free of charge in the future. It remains unclear when the free version will be available.
Fortnite and V-Bucks: This is the premium currency
The so-called "V-Bucks" form the currency of Fortnite, with which you can buy cosmetic items in the item shop, as well as the Battle Pass of each Fortnite season. It is also possible to purchase "V-Bucks" directly from the game, for example by increasing your PSN balance on the Playstation and then purchasing the "V-Bucks" in-game through the shop.
500 V-Bucks cost you 5 Euros, 1,000 V-Bucks cost 10 Euro, and 10,000 V-Bucks 100 Euro. There are also V-Bucks bonuses for offers in the shop.
